‍“I just want to be loved,” shared Vlad, a young man Steiger missionary Pasha and his team met at the Motherland indie festival this summer. His words revealed a deep ache that so many in the global youth culture carry: the longing for real love, identity, and belonging.

Sofia’s story didn’t begin in a church or Christian home. In fact, she grew up in a non-religious family that never talked about God. But deep down, something was stirring. Many years ago, she was sitting in her room when she suddenly felt a presence, like God was there. She dropped to her knees and prayed.‍

‍“Before attending my first ‘Bible Study for the Non-Religious,’ I had read The Antichrist by Friedrich Nietzsche,” Vanya recalls. This fierce critique of Christianity bolstered his own worldview as an atheist, however, he was still intrigued by the idea of studying the Bible with the new friends.
